Above are two pictures of our VP Jason Harrow on his recent trip to Kenya. Making and distributing food as well as getting in a friendly game of soccer with the kids. We are truly grateful to have such dedicated and caring people in our herd!

Culture Classes

The culture classes serve the purpose of diminishing culture shock for the students and for everyone to get to know all the people they will be traveling with on the trips. IDs, itineraries, and any other information are also distributed throughout the culture class duration. During the two to three months that the classes are going on the kids learn a bit of the country's language and customs. We even take the time out and learn how to make one of the country's main food dishes. For example, the trip to Hawaii the students make Haupia (A traditional Hawaiian coconut flavored dessert that is best described as a "stiff pudding"). All materials for the class are provided for the students and are included in the cost of the trip.
