"....I found a combination of breakfast foods I like here! it sounds weird but because I'm not a seafood fan I thought I'd starve but this morning I tasted a few more items that were different from yesterday and I liked them. My breakfast is rolls, sweet rolls, water, and miso soup without the onions."

Nada, age 17

"....Today's adventure was an experience to remember. I loved the shrines and temples, it was beautiful and magnificient. I was experiencing a new sense of religion and culture.....This culture day was interesting. The dinner I had today was much better than the first night. Today I had Japanese stew chicken curry. It was amazing"

"....My feet hurt. I am tired. WE WALKED FOREVER. I am thankful for the exercise and the beautiful sites.... (June 16th) " Because we walked the entire country yesterday today we went to the hot springs and relaxed for hours in a cool cave!. The hot spring was inside a volcano!!!!! It was so awesome!""

"...The people are really kind here and are very willing to help you. Hopefully I didn't catch the worker in the SEGA game room by too much surprise when I hugged her for helping me win my plushy pillow"
